The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of REALTORS® (NLAR) values your privacy. As such, it is the policy of NLAR that personal information that you provide, such as your name, gender, postal and e-mail address or telephone number is private and confidential. Personal information collected by NLAR may be used for the following general purposes:

  • To respond to your questions and comments.

STORAGE AND DELETION

NLAR at all times adheres to applicable legal or regulatory requirement(s) concerning the storage and protection of personal information. While NLAR is the custodian of the personal information provided to it, it does use third party service providers. Some of these service providers and the databases where they store personal information are located outside of Canada. You should note that where personal information is located outside of Canada, it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction in which it is located.

NLAR collects the e-mails provided through the “Contact ” feature of this website, so NLAR can respond to your questions or suggestions and  for security purposes.

 

IP ADDRESSES

Similar to other commercial websites, our website collects information about how our website is used. Each time a visitor comes to the website our web server collects the visitor’s domain name or IP address. NLAR cannot determine an individual’s identify from only an IP address; however, periodically users may inform NLAR support staff of their IP addresses during the provision of support services. At such time, NLAR treats such information as personal information.

These cookies remain after the browser is closed and are stored locally on your system. NLAR does not track such cookies on NLAR servers, nor does NLAR use such cookies to store personal information.
